BACnet PICS
PICS, neboli Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (Prohlášení o shodě implementace protokolu) je dokument, který standardizovaným způsobem popisuje vlastnosti implementace protokolu BACnet. Podle toho, jak je výkonná daná hardwarová platforma, jaké komunikační porty přístroj má, podle charakteru zařízení (regulátor radiátorů nebo řídicí stanice atd.), stupně vývoje atd., byly v zařízení naprogramovány určité vlastnosti. Aby technik mohl rychle posoudit, zda zařízení obsahuje všechny potřebné funkce a do jaké míry vyhovuje normě, výrobce zařízení uvádí jeho důležité vlastnosti v podobě strukturovaného dokumentu.
